Poli Prep™ is our concentrated cleaning formula that prepares your RV for the application of our flagship boat polish Poli Glow®.

You know all the stains, dirt, tar, grime, old wax, spray-on ceramics, mold, mildew and chalkiness that accumulates on your RV?

It’s all caused by a process called “oxidation.”

Heat, moisture, UV radiation from the sun break down the compounds in your clearcoat, giving it that tell-tale chalky appearance.

As the clearcoat degrades, dirt and grime are able to penetrate to the fiberglass and stain. Colors fade. Mold and mildew begin to accumulate.

This process destroys the glossy shine all new RVs have and makes them appear increasingly old and worn.

The good news is you can get that shine back.

Poli Glow® is a proprietary , water-based acrylic formula that binds to the fiberglass surface to create a durable, glossy finish.

There’s nothing else like it on the market, but before you can apply Poli Glow®, you need to get rid of all the nastiness that’s making your RV look bad in the first place.

That’s where Poli Prep™ comes in. It helps remove the oxidation and stains to create a clean surface for Poli Glow® to seal and shine.

Poli Prep™ is safe for use on the following surfaces:

  • Fiberglass
  • Gelcoat
  • Clear coat
  • Metals
  • Glass
  • Rubber
  • Plastic
  • Vinyl decals
  • Most automotive or fortified paints.

Poli Prep™ is not safe for use on the following surfaces:
  • Brand new, unoxidized surfaces that still have a gloss
  • Household acrylic and urethane based paints
  • Ink printed or silk-screen decals and graphics

For over 25 years, Poli Glow® has been sealing and protecting RVs all over the world, keeping them looking glossy and new.

Experience the #glossthatsboss for yourself.

If this is your first time using Poli Glow® products to get rid of oxidation, we strongly recommend you purchase our Poli Glow® Deluxe Kit.

Once you’ve used Poli Prep™ to remove the oxidation, you will want to seal and restore the colors and original shine of your RV with Poli Glow®, our proprietary RV polish.

The Deluxe Kit includes everything you need to restore and seal the surface on your RV.

When to purchase an individual bottle of Poli Prep™

  • If you purchased one of our kits but your RV is longer than 28 feet.
  • If your gelcoat was highly oxidized and you need a little extra Poli Prep™.
  • If you need to touch up some difficult scuffed areas and don’t have Poli Prep™ (please refer to the Poli Glow® Application and Maintenance Guide)

Before applying Poli Glow® RV polish, you need to remove any oxidation on your RV’s fiberglass surface with Poli Prep™ and Poli Ox™, depending on the oxidation level.

If this is your first time using Poli Glow® products, please consider purchasing the Poli Glow® Deluxe Kit., which has everything you need.

A properly prepared surface should look uniformly dull without color changes or blotches. Some of the colors will still appear bleached or faded until Poli Glow® has been applied.

If you are applying maintenance coats of Poli Glow®, wash and dry the surface first with Poli Wash™. Remove any waxes or spray on ceramics by addingPoli Wash Pro™.

Directions for use:

  1. Put on disposable gloves to protect your hands.
  2. Dilute Poli Prep™ concentrate at a 3:1 ratio of water to product in a trigger spray bottle.
  3. Cover bottom paint and ink-printed graphics with plastic and tape.
  4. Wet the RV's surface with water.
  5. Spray the diluted Poli Prep™ solution onto the surface and scrub vigorously with the non-abrasive white scrub pad with blue handle.
  6. Use the ultra-fine sanding pad for tougher areas.
  7. Rinse thoroughly with water and repeat as necessary until the surface looks uniform without blotchy areas or stains

If there are heavier stains or all the oxidation did not come off, use Poli Ox™ and the ultra-fine sanding pad.

Please refer to the Poli Glow® Application and Maintenance Guide for detailed guidance.

At least once per year, wash your RV with Poli Wash™, treat any oxidation spots, and re-apply 3-4 coats of Poli Glow® to maintain your glossy shine.

When Poli Glow® is first applied, it can last up to a year or more in certain
conditions.

However, Poli Glow® was never meant to be a one-time application. Eventually, the Poli Glow® surface will oxidize like any other product or structure left out in the elements (albeit more slowly than alternatives).

The reason to regularly maintain the Poli Glow® finish is to prevent oxidation and the need to do heavier work when it does finally break down.

If maintained properly, Poli Glow® can last five to six years, and the heavier work
can be avoided.

Where you live determines how often you should apply maintenance coats. RVs in tropical climates require more frequent maintenance than RVs in temperate ones.

Please refer to the Poli Glow® Application and Maintenance Guide for detailed guidance and to review our Poli Glow® Coating Chart.
